This is a translation for convenience. If there is any difference, the Portuguese version prevails.
1. Who we are
TestDriver.pro is an independent study tool for driving theory exams. It has no link to IMT or any other authority.
2. Data stored in your browser
Your test history, answers, mistakes notebook and flagged questions are stored in your browser's local storage (localStorage). Without an account they are not sent to our servers; with an account they are also synced to it (see section 4). You can delete them at any time in My Dashboard or by clearing the site data in your browser. Your language choice is stored the same way.
3. AI instructor and study translations
When you ask the AI instructor for an explanation or request a study translation, the question text and options (and, for explanations, the answer you chose and the correct answer) are sent through our server to the Google Gemini service, which generates the reply. No data that identifies you is sent. Your IP address is used only briefly to limit the number of requests and prevent abuse.
4. User account (optional)
You can use the site without an account. If you create one (with Google or with a link sent by email), we store in a cloud database your name, email address and profile photo (when provided by Google), your mock exam results and your answers to questions, to show your strengths and weaknesses dashboard on any device. The sign-in email is sent through an email delivery service. We do not use this data for advertising. You can delete the account and all this data at any time in My Dashboard → “Delete account and data”.
5. Advertising
Studying is free and funded by Google AdSense advertising, which may use cookies to show ads. You are asked for consent first, and you can refuse or change it. Ads are never shown during a timed exam. Learn more at How Google uses cookies in advertising.
6. Payments (optional Pro plan)
The Pro plan is optional. Payments are processed by Stripe; we never receive or store your card or payment details. We only keep a record of the payment (date, amount and period activated) for as long as tax rules require, even if you delete your account (in that case, without any link to your profile).
7. Hosting
The site is hosted by a cloud service provider, which records technical access data (such as IP address and browser type) for security and operation.
8. Your rights
Under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) you have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict and port your data and to object to its processing, as well as the right to lodge a complaint with the Portuguese data protection authority (CNPD).
